Please say it isn’t so! Can it already be October! I know I talk about this a lot, but I feel like life is passing me by in warp speed! My first official wedding season is winding down and it has been one truly amazing ride! I have one more wedding in December for 2009 and I’ll have ended the year shooting 14 of my own weddings and 5 as a 2nd shooter, and to be honest…..I’m in love. I love being part of someone’s best day of their lives. I love how the couples just fall into their own rhythm and mood, and they’re so easy to direct and take pictures of. I love the feelings of a new life starting together…basically I love it all.
Back in September I 2nd shot for Alissa Tucci. She was covering a wedding for Brian and Ryan in Seattle. I had met Brian at another wedding I helped shoot with Alissa earlier in the year, and so it was nice to be able to be a part of their day too.
