{Bryce + Shannon Married l Snohomish Wedding Photographer}-UPDATED

Seven months ago, I struggled through the dark Washington night, trying to find an address that didn’t seem to exist….at least by mapquest standards. I picked up my phone and was easily guided around a corner, onto a street with the same name as the last (a hidden street if you will) and to the correct house. As I met Shannon and Bryce, as well as Shannon’s parents Rene and Debbie, it was hard to contain the excitement, the aprehension, and well, let’s just put it out there….the outright terror I felt inside. What if they thought I was the greenest photographer alive? What if I couldn’t convey my vision of what an awesome experience I wanted to give them? I sat at their dining room table, going over my wedding contract and answering any questions they may have had. I didn’t have any sample albums, I didn’t even have any experience with any other weddings…..just the knowledge of my camera and my determination to document April 4, 2009 exactly how they envisioned. Well, they hired me that very same night, right on the spot, and my journey began. I’ll never forget Shannon telling me how excited and relieved she was that she had found “her” photographer!

Bryce and Shannon, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish, WA. Your wedding was full of beauty, and most important, emotion and love. There were definitely quite a few times, where my own eyes teared up. Your vows to each other were honest, funny, and heartfelt, and Shannon I will never ever forget the dance you had with your dad. Whoever picked that song out; “I Loved Her First” by Heartland, just HAD to know that no eye was going to be dry in the place when that was over. I even admit that I went home, downloaded the song and played it for my husband while I showed him the shots from the dance and I cried AGAIN!

Thanks to all of the wonderful vendors that I had a chance to work with…… Judi Bloom from Quackers, her and her staff made the whole day seamless and smooth. All, and I do mean all, of the time lines were perfectly executed. I truly hope that I get to work with her again! I’d also like to thank Alissa from Alissa Tucci Photography for being my 2nd photographer for the day! The amazing flowers were done by florist Stacey Hendrickson from Stems by Stacey. At the end is a list of all of the other wonderful vendors. Each one was amazing to work with! Here’s a few of my favorite shots from the day.
