Ok, so after great support from my family and super timing on my part, I finally have a place to express my artistic side! I’m so excited to start this journey into photography. I’ve loved taking pictures of my family and digital art for so long! I decided I should get a degree in something that I really love doing and also gain some skills too.
Well……….after TEN YEARS of being out of high school and going to school off and on trying to “figure out” what a good area would be to study for a career, I’ve finally decided. Why not photography? WHY NOT???? I love doing it, it’s fun, there’s always something different to capture and it makes people happy, at least it makes ME happy. Now, I’m the first to admit that I’m no “professional”……at least not yet anyway, but I love the pictures I’ve taken over the years that are in our home. I still laugh every time I see the picture I took of Braedon when he was a baby at Halloween and I put that ridiculous clown wig on his head! There was absolutely no smiles, but that look on his face was priceless and every time I look at it, it takes me back to that day when he didn’t want to dress up for Halloween, and it makes me laugh.
This blog is to document my growth in photography as I continue on in my studies, and just a place to keep my first pictures and projects. I want to create the same kind of memories I have when I look at a picture, for others. Please feel free to share your feedback and comments with me.
